Surfing the Web just got simpler, safer, and much more private. CookieCop 3, the latest premium utility from PC Magazine, is an update of our super-popular CookieCop program, which has topped our download charts since its 2002 release. This latest version lets you set up simple Web-site profiles to battle aggressive pop-ups, bothersome Flash animations, and privacy-invading cookies and ActiveX coding. Not only do you deny Big Brother intrusions, you also streamline page loading.

Improving the operation of CookieCop required functions found in Microsoft Internet Explorer, thus this version of the utility will work properly only with IE. Advanced features, such as in-browser utility access, require IE 6, available as a free download from Microsoft.
