F-Secures latest Anti-Virus Small Business Suite is an inexpensive, easy-to-use package that is well-suited for protecting small and midsize networks from viruses and worms.

The suite, which was released last month, includes F-Secure Anti-Virus Client Security, a desktop and workstation anti-virus client with a built-in personal firewall. Anti-virus components for file servers and Microsofts Exchange are also included in the suite.

F-Secure Policy Manager provides centralized management for the suites components. In tests, I used the Policy Manager console to update virus definitions, monitor scans and configure firewall security settings. The Policy Manager console also provided a good summary of network health and allowed me in tests to track down virus alerts quickly.

The F-Secure suite can be installed on Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000/NT and Windows XP machines. F-Secure Anti-Virus for Microsoft Exchange supports Exchange 5.0 or later.

F-Secure Anti-Virus Small Business Suite costs $90 per seat for fewer than 10 seats, $75.60 per seat for 10 to 24 seats and $63.60 per seat for 25 to 50 seats.
