Humans are the weakest link in any security chain, a Gartner analyst said last week at the research firms 10th Annual IT Security Summit.

“Social engineering is so powerful it can completely circumvent all of your security if done right,” said Rich Mogull, Gartners director of information security. Mogull also said that companies should carefully monitor publicly available information.
