Internet Security Systems Inc. (ISS) unveiled an integrated version of its Proventia appliance for small and midsize businesses. The Proventia M30 combines intrusion prevention and detection, firewall, VPN, antivirus, Web filtering and anti-spam functionality for complete protection in a single box.
The company also unveiled two new versions of the Proventia tool designed to offer Gigabit performance. The Proventia G1000 and G1000F, combine similar integrated functionality to defeat threats in high-bandwidth, high-capacity networking environments.
