Just when you thought Microsoft was impermeable to security lawsuits, as a result of careful wording in its licensing terms and conditions, a group of Californians are poised to levy a class-action suit against the Redmond software maker as a result of continued security breaches. The suit, filed Tuesday, cites unfair competition and privacy violations, as well as indecipherable security warnings, as grounds. The plaintiffs are seeking unspecified damages and legal costs. Microsoft has yet to comment on the proposed lawsuit.
