Question from psaltz
“Help. I have a Linksys BEFSR41 Router (updated to latest 1.45.7 firmware) – Wan is cable with fixed (not static but effectively so) address. PC on lan is Win XP pro – an incomming VPN connection is set up. I can connect to VPN from lan side (another Win pro PC) with no problem but if I try from the internet side (using all the same connection – just changed IP from internal 192.168.1.100 to external IP address) no connection & no luck (or skill). It gets to point of “verifying username and password” and then 721 error – unable to verify.
