Fedora 14 Adds Development Tool, Desktop Virtualization Enhancements

Fedora 14 is another solid offering from Red Hat and the Fedora community.

Red Hat’s Spice remote desktop protocol has finally made its way into Fedora, albeit with limited integration.

Specifically, Spice is not yet integrated with Fedora’s default virtualization management tools.

Fedora 14 ships with the latest version of the popular NetBeans Integrated Development Environment.

Fedora 14 also includes the most recent release of the Eclipse IDE-Helios.

In addition to the primary package, Fedora’s networked repositories contain a broad assortment of Eclipse add-ons.

Fedora 14 adds improved support for Amazon’s Elastic Compute Cloud. Previously, the most recent “official” Fedora release on EC2 was the aged Fedora 8.
