FuseSource, a player in the open-source integration and messaging world, has launched a beta program for two new products: Fuse ESB Enterprise 7.0 and Fuse MQ Enterprise 7.0.

FuseSource is targeting enterprise software developers, architects and DevOps professionals, whom it would like to participate in a beta program for the two new platforms, which deliver the capabilities enterprises need to use open-source technology for all of their integration and messaging needs.

FuseSource officials said both products reflect the low cost and flexibility inherent in open source and build on FuseSource enterprise-class offerings based on popular Apache Software Foundation projects Apache ServiceMix, ActiveMQ, Camel and CXF.

Fuse ESB Enterprise 7.0 is an enterprise-class, open-source integration platform based on FuseSource offerings that have been proven in mission-critical deployments across hundreds of large enterprises, the company said. Customers can purpose-fit the highly flexible Fuse ESB Enterprise platform to virtually any environment.

Fuse MQ Enterprise 7.0 is an open-source, standards-based messaging platform that can be deployed in any development environment with a very small footprint. The Fuse MQ Enterprise platform makes it easy for IT organizations to deploy and connect customized integration connections. Both platforms, available for free, also include new features, functionality and tools that make it even easier and more beneficial for enterprises to adopt and deploy open-source integration and messaging.

€œOur products and services are proven in hundreds of deployments in some of the most challenging environments, but we knew we wanted to make it easier for mainstream enterprises to deploy and manage them,€ said Larry Alston, president of FuseSource. €œThe two new platforms we are inviting software developers, architects and DevOps professionals to beta today reflect that goal. With Fuse ESB Enterprise and Fuse MQ Enterprise we€™re making it easier than ever for mainstream organizations to embrace open-source integration and messaging and achieve the savings and flexibility that only result when you have access to the code.€

FuseSource also recently announced some of the experts and enterprises that will share success stories and best practices at CamelOne€”the company€™s conference designed for enterprise users of open-source integration and messaging. CamelOne 2012 will be held in Boston from May 15-16 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel.

CamelOne provides software developers, architects and information technology professionals with an opportunity to learn from the experts who founded popular open-source integration and messaging projects, including Apache Software Foundation projects Apache ServiceMix, ActiveMQ, Camel and CXF; and veterans of successful enterprise deployments within many of the world€™s most successful private- and public-sector organizations. This year€™s event will include more than 25 sessions.

€œThere isn€™t a more valuable event than CamelOne for enterprise IT professionals who want to learn how the world€™s best-known companies and organizations are solving real-world business challenges with open-source integration and messaging technologies that deliver unprecedented flexibility and cost savings,€ said Rob Davies, CTO of FuseSource and co-founder of Apache Software Foundation projects Apache ServiceMix, ActiveMQ and Camel. €œWhether you are in the midst of an integration project or considering one, the presenters and fellow attendees at CamelOne are sure to offer insights you can€™t gain anywhere else.€
