itControl Solutions, “itControl,” a start-up operating in the remote monitoring and management system market, announced a partnership with Mi6 Group, a professional sales organization, to escalate their market penetration. Mi6 Group said it would provide their channel optimization methodologies in concert with itControl’s RMM solution.

itControl said it has focused its efforts on providing additional features and functionality through their RMM solution, allowing their partners to provide IT services to their clients, while Mi6 Group has been helping other technology companies grow their channel programs. Together, itControl and Mi6 Group will be modifying the existing reseller “On-boarding” process to simplify product evaluations and comparison to other RMM solutions to help ensure partners make the right choice for their business.

“Mi6 Group will provide additional value to our existing Distributor and MSP partners in addition to expanding our partner model to include Value Added Resellers and strategic OEM relationships,” said itControl CEO Sheldon Waters. “Mi6 Group will also assist itControl Solutions in the development and management of an inside sales team, dedicated to generating leads to provide our partner network with incremental sales opportunities. This will result in increased sales as well as shorten the sales cycle and time to cash model.”

itControl’s Remote Monitoring & Management System (RMM), aimed at small to medium-size businesses (SMBs), offers multiple deployment methods, including an appliance based implementation. iControl suite includes heartbeats, which are at the core of the alerting engine in itControl Suite. These routines function from the itControl Suite appliance and are silent within the environment. The alert engine is pre-configured for businesses upon installation based on best practices. Users can change the alert parameters as they choose and alert distribution can be controlled.

“As part of our initial engagement with itControl, we were tasked to evaluate their product in comparison to top industry leaders such as Kaseya, N-Able, Level Platforms and LabTech, to name few. In addition, we assessed their overall market, partner model, and existing channel partners,” said Mi6 president Bryan Short. “We were pleasantly surprised to find how well their product stacked up against the competition as well as how happy their partners were with both the technology and the itControl team. Frankly, our team thinks this product suite is so unique it will transcend the SMB space as well as provide a solid solution to the Enterprise market. “
