Network communications and managed services provider Windstream announced the availability of its latest bundled offering for small to midsize businesses (SMBs)€”the Windstream Professional Bundle. The package, which can be customized and is offered for a flat monthly fee, includes business-class Internet (with speeds up to 24M bps available), unlimited phone service, online backup of business data, virus and data protection, and 24-by-7 computer repair and replacement of broken components.

The bundle also includes a custom-built Website and one hour of monthly design services by Windstream€™s Web experts.

€œMany small businesses do not have the specialized staff to support their IT needs, nor the design team to build and maintain their own websites,€ Don Perkins, vice president of business marketing at Windstream, said in a press statement. €œWith Windstream€™s Professional Bundle, we help customers significantly reduce expense and complexity associated with computer repair and website maintenance. With the Professional Bundle, customers can leverage the full power of a professionally built and maintained website, while making IT simple and affordable, so they can focus on operating their businesses.€

Other available features include support for mobile Website design and a OneList Web address submission to more than 40 online directories and GPS navigation systems including Google, MSN and Yahoo. The company also offers a host of other services, including audio and Web conferencing, fax-to-email, credit card processing services and Website hosting. The company€™s stand-alone Security Suite, powered by McAfee, starts at $3.99 a month.

€œOur small business customers typically have at least one thing in common: Their primary goals are to control expenses and grow their businesses,€ Perkins said. €œWindstream€™s Business Bundles are designed to give these customers peace of mind in knowing that they are protected from major out-of-pocket expenses, they have a predictable monthly bill€”from just one service provider€”and that they have the data, phone and network solutions that they need to succeed.€

Windstream recently announced the nationwide expansion of its voice, data and equipment bundle offering, IP Simple Solutions, which combines a business phone system from Windstream subsidiary Allworx with Windstream€™s VoIP and Data solution. Small businesses can choose from a variety of IP Phone PBX options, handset options and optional hardware and software elements, including automatic call distribution, call assistant, dual language support and mobile link.
