Enterprises are finding that its becoming increasingly complex and expensive to store the mountains of data piling up daily. TeraCloud Corp. in December announced a management platform designed to make storage easier and cheaper.

The SpaceNet software platform not only manages an enterprises current storage use but also projects future storage needs, thus enabling companies to maximize hardware use, according to the Bellevue, Wash., company.

Using SpaceNet, administrators can oversee data and hardware from a central console and receive information in file-level detail. They can define management policies at the platform level, allowing for customization of the software.

Pricing for SpaceNet, which is available now, starts at $50,000.
