Fujitsu Doubles Capacity of High-Performance Drive

Fujitsu Computer Products of America Inc. recently unveiled a new line of 15,000-RPM drives with either Ultra320 SCSI and Fibre Channel interfaces, dubbed “MAU,”.

The high-capacity point for the companys high performance line will top out at 147GB, up from 73GB. In addition, the company announced a 300GB drive with a spindle speed of 10,000 RPM, following in the footsteps of Hitachi Global Storage Technologies recent announcement.
