Network Appliance Inc., a k a NetApp, recently said that its fiscal third-quarter profit more than doubled as companies spent more on technology used to manage data.
The company reported net income for the third quarter ended Jan. 30 of $40.2 million, or 11 cents per share, up from $19.7 million, or 6 cents per share a year earlier.
