GFI Software Ltd. this week announced a new network security tool that offers administrators network-wide control of which users can plug in USB or other removable storage devices and access CDs and floppies. It also allows administrators to control the connection of devices that can register storage in Windows, such as MP3 players, smart phones, digital cameras and handhelds. The price starts at $295 to monitor up to 25 computers.
