Princeton Softech Inc. on Monday announced the availability of Archive for DB2 Release 5.2.

The update offers expanded support for EMC Corp.s Centera Compliance Edition and its EMCs z/OS mainframe connectivity.

In addition, Release 5.2 of Archive for DB2 includes new offline delete options and enhanced Large Object (LOB) handling that improves performance by more than 25 percent, the company said. A new archive index capability provides for index validation and faster access to archived data.
