With the amount of e-mail generated each day, organizing it can be a challenge. Incline Softworks LLC, of Incline Village, N.Y., has launched eMailBoss, a management tool that allows users to organize and prioritize incoming e-mail. Its a Microsoft Corp. Outlook add-on that sorts the in-box by organizing messages into seven categories arranged in different Outlook folders. Mail delivered to each folder rings a different sound, and each folder can be customized.
The standard categories include: VIP for e-mail from the people most important to you; HOT for e-mail that is marked for high priority; Follow-Up for those messages that have been marked by the user or sender as needing a response; and Office Mail for e-mail coming from the same domain name as the users address. Others include Friends & Family, To Be Reviewed and Junk.
eMailBoss is available for a free trial period and for purchase for $39.95. Users can download eMailBoss from www.emailboss.com.
