Asus has been among the most aggressive two-in-one vendors, and included in its lineup is the Taichi. At IDF, CEO Jerry Shen came onstage with an upcoming system that he said will run Windows 8.1 and Android. “Everything plays on this platform,” he said.

Lenovo’s Yoga convertible includes a hinge that lets it be used as a laptop, folded back as a full tablet or tented so it can stand up. Intel officials showed off an upcoming Yoga Pro 2 that will be aimed at business users.
