MPC Computers is rolling out a new business desktop PC that offers the BTX chassis design and enhanced management features.
The ClientPro 375 is the latest MPC desktop to feature the BTX, or Balanced Technology Extended, model, which offers a front-to-back airflow across the hottest components designed to make the computer run cooler and quieter. In addition, it supports Intels Quiet Cooling Technology, which automatically adjusts the systems fan speed depending on the temperature inside the chassis.
The PC, which was announced last week, also comes with Intels Active Management Technology hardware and optional management software from LANDesk for networked clients. The technologies offer remote troubleshooting, security alerts and the ability to communicate with PCs that are turned off.
The ClientPro 375 is powered by Intels Pentium 4 630 chip with Hyper-Threading Technology, the 945G Express chip set with an 800MHz front-side bus and an integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 for enhanced graphics performance.
