Corex Technologies Corp., in Cambridge, Mass., next month will release the latest version of its CardScan scanner, which scans business cards and puts the cards data into the correct fields of the electronic address book on a users PC.
The CardScan Executive 600cs new features include a smaller, full-color scanner; a feature called CardScan.Net, which lets users access their contacts over a secure Web connection; AutoMap, which lets users click on a contacts address and automatically connect to a map of that address on MapQuest. com; and Signature Card, which lets users personalize outgoing Microsoft Corp. Outlook e-mail by attaching the business cards image as a signature.
The CardScan Executive 600c and its companion software will cost $299.
