SECURITY

The more time an enterprise has to fight off a hack, the better.

Thats just what Recourse Technologies Inc. hopes to offer customers with its ManTrap Version 2.0, a covert security product designed to confuse attackers while alerting the business to the attack.

ManTrap creates a decoy environment, making attackers believe they are moving around a real operating system. While the attack is occurring, ManTrap sends back information to IT managers, who have the time to watch, evaluate and respond.

It is available now from the Redwood City, Calif., company, with pricing starting at $7,500 per server.
