Support Nextel Communications Inc. last week announced two new phones that Motorola Inc., of Schaumburg, Ill., designed for the Nextel network. Both support over-the-air downloading of Java applications via the Nextel Wireless Web service.

Features Both phones from Nextel, of Reston, Va., include a built-in speakerphone, voice-activated dialing and a voice recorder for memos or recording calls. The phones can store up to 250 contacts.

Pricing The Motorola i90c phone weighs 4.8 ounces and features a blue backlight and musical ring tones. It costs $199. The Motorola i80s weighs 4.2 ounces and costs $149.99.
