Supply-side business-to-business software vendor SpaceWorks Inc. and Surgency Inc., an e-business strategy company formerly known as Benchmarking Partners Inc., have combined to create a tool to help companies define and measure their e-commerce strategies.
SpaceWorks Navigator is a Web-based tool that addresses e-commerce processes such as ordering, marketing, selling, collaboration, billing and integration.
It does this in four phases, the first three of which can be done through self-service components found on SpaceWorks Web site.
With those, companies can learn about e-commerce, assess their own capabilities and view specific recommendations for ramping up to e-business.
The fourth phase is an on-site value analysis—including a financial assessment—administered by SpaceWorks, in Rockville, Md.
