In the wake of the terrorist attacks that struck New York City, Internet World Fall 2001, scheduled for Manhattans Jacob Javits Center, has been postponed.

The popular trade show was originally scheduled to run from October 1 – 5. It will now run from December 10 – 14.

By moving Internet World Fall 2001 to December, Penton Media, producer of the trade show, is “doing everything we can to support the efforts of the heroic volunteers who are now using the Javits Center as a base of operations,” said Thomas L. Kemp, Penton Medias CEO, in a company release.

Internet World will run simultaneously at the Javits Center with another Penton show, Streaming Media East. Company officials touted the pairing as an early opportunity for tech leaders to explore how the industry can move forward after the attacks.
