Better management In November, RouteScience Inc., a San Mateo, Calif., routing device maker, will unveil PathControl to help enterprises better manage the cost and performance of their Internet routing.

Traffic director PathControl measures the real-time performance of available Internet routes to end users. By revealing how fast traffic moves across all network paths to specific users, PathControl helps enterprises select the best path for the most important traffic. PathControl is priced between $140,000 and $250,000, depending on how many modules are needed.
