It’s Time for the Pebble Time
The Pebble Time features an always-on color e-paper display, a stainless steel bezel, a durable glass lens and a silicone watch band. The Time comes in black, white or red, and features a built-in microphone for voice notes and message replies without having to use a smartphone.
The Timeline Feature Can Help Organize Your Day
The Time gets Pebble’s latest timeline interface, which lets users instantly check past, present and upcoming events in real-time right on the watch face. The timeline allows users to receive notifications, calendar events, weather, sports scores, breaking news, missed calls, app alerts and more in one place. The Time features tactile buttons so users can operate the device by feel.
Thin Design for User Comfort
The Pebble Time has a curved design to fit comfortably against a wearer’s wrist and measures 1.6 inches long, 1.5 inches wide and 0.4 inches thick. The smartwatch is compatible with Apple iPhone 4S and new phones running iOS 8 and with all Android devices running Android 4.0 and above.
Water-Resistant to 98.4 Feet
The Pebble Time is built with protection against water damage and can be worn in the shower, in swimming pools, or for outdoor activities in inclement weather. It is designed with water resistance to 98.4 feet, or about 30 meters.
Once-a-Week Charging
With battery life up to seven days, the Pebble Time can give users the information they need for a long time before requiring recharging. The watch uses a magnetic USB cable for charging its 150mAh battery.
Fitness- and Sleep-Tracking Compatibility
The Pebble Time can be used in conjunction with an activity-tracking app from Jawbone, Fitocracy, Runkeeper or Misfit so that users can track and record their walking, steps, bicycling and sleep hours to monitor their health and fitness goals.
Control Your Music With a Compatible App
Pebble Time users can also control the music in their Pandora, iHeartRadio and other streaming music accounts using their watch and an app on an accompanying smartphone.
Choose From Plenty of Apps to Add
Time owners can choose from more than 8,000 compatible smartphone apps in the Pebble app store to customize their devices. Apps are available from brands including Jawbone, Misfit, ESPN, Swarm and Swim.com. There are also independent apps.
