NUU Mobile’s latest flagship smartphone, the stylish and feature-filled Z8, is now available for sale online from several major retailers in the United States for $299.99 for a 32GB version.

The company, which announced the immediate availability of the Z8 on July 29, said it can be purchased online through BestBuy.com, Target.com, HSN.com, Amazon.com and NUUMobile.com. Consumers who preordered the handsets in the spring should now be receiving them, the company said. A 16GB version in Brushed Black will be available in August for $249.99.

The Z8 features a 5.5-inch full HD touch-screen display, a 1.7GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of onboard storage, dual SIM card support, a 13-megapixel rear-facing Sony camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with a wide-angle lens and a removable 2,650mAh battery. The Z8 supports 4G LTE capabilities and can be used on mobile networks with T-Mobile, AT&T, Cricket Wireless, Lycamobile, Metro PCS, Net10 Wireless and Straight Talk. The handset runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and includes Bluetooth and WiFi capabilities.

The Z8 is NUU Mobile’s fifth unlocked Android smartphone, according to the company.

“We are excited to offer our customers an unlocked phone that provides top quality specs, unmatched power and all the benefits of the Lollipop operating system, without forcing high prices or locked contracts on them,” John Murtha, vice president of sales for NUU Mobile, said in a statement. “The Z8 is our highest performing phone yet and we are thrilled to deliver a fully-loaded smartphone that stays true to our commitment to freedom and flexibility.”

The 32GB version of the Z8 is available in Brushed Black and Brushed White, while limited edition colors will be available in the future, according to the Hong Kong-based company.

The dual SIM feature means that users can have two phone numbers on their Z8 phone for traveling or to enable them to use one device for work and personal tasks.

In June, vendor NUU Mobile launched its fourth unlocked Android smartphone in the United States, the NU2S, which operates on a wide assortment of mobile networks from carriers including AT&T, Cricket Wireless, Lycamobile, MetroPCS, Net10 Wireless, Straight Talk Wireless, T-Mobile and Walmart Family Mobile by T-Mobile.

The phone, which retails for $99.99, includes a 4.5-inch qHD touch-screen display, a 1.3GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor, a MediaTek MTK 6582 chipset, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of onboard storage (expandable to 32GB with a microSD card). The NU2S also included a rear-facing 5-megapixel auto-focus camera with flash, a front-facing 2MP camera and a removable 2,000mAh battery. The smartphone also runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and includes dual SIM capabilities, one of which works with 4G networks and the other which supports 2G networks.
