2AT&T Offers the S7, S7 Edge on AT&T Next 24 Plans
AT&T will sell the 32GB model of the Galaxy S7 starting at $23.17 a month for 30 months, for a total of $695.10. The 32GB S7 Edge starts at $26.50 a month for 30 months, for a total of $795. AT&T is offering the S7 and the S7 Edge with the preloaded DirecTV app to allow customers to get a more integrated DirecTV experience on their handsets. The app features a Quick Remote capability that allows the smartphone to act as a remote control when viewing programming at home.
3Sprint Offers Installment or Galaxy Forever Plans
Sprint customers can buy a 32GB Samsung Galaxy S7 under a 24-month installment plan at $27.09 per month for a total of $650.16, or a 32GB S7 Edge for $31.25 a month, for a total of $750. Buyers can also get a second handset for half-price under a special offer. Sprint customers can also get an S7 under its Galaxy Forever plan that allows handset upgrades after the 12th of 24 payments is made. The S7 is $25.99 per month, for a total of $623.76, while the S7 Edge is $30.50 per month, for a total of $732.
4T-Mobile Offering a Free Year of Netflix With Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge
T-Mobile is selling a 32GB S7 handset for $669.99 after 24 payments ($27.92 for 23 months plus $27.83 for the final payment), or an S7 Edge for $779.99 after 24 payments ($32.50 a month for 23 months plus a final payment of $32.49). The carrier is also providing a free year of Netflix service to customers with the purchase of one of the phones.

At U.S. Cellular, Galaxy S7 buyers can get their handsets through installment plans or through two-year contracts with lower device costs. Under a 24-month installment plan, a 32GB Galaxy S7 starts at $28 a month, for a total of $672, while an S7 Edge is $32.50 per month, for a total of $780. Under a two-year agreement, a 32GB Galaxy S7 is $199, while a Galaxy S7 Edge is $299.
7Water Resistance Returns to the Galaxy S7 Series
Samsung’s earlier Galaxy S5 devices were water-resistant, and now that capability is back—in both the S7 and S7 Edge handsets. Users of the new handsets can let them get wet in normal use, thanks to IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. Buyers can again use their phones in the rain or around liquids without worrying about harming them.
