As Wi-Fi hot spots pop up all over the world, so do hot-spot roaming agreements. Last week, Sprint PCS Group and STSN announced a deal that gives PCS Wi-Fi customers access to some 500 of STSNs hotel hot spots in the United States and Canada.

Meanwhile, Boingo Wireless announced a deal with Visacom in France to expand Boingos hot-spot network in France.

Gartner predicts that the number of hot-spot users worldwide will reach 30 million this year, up from 9.3 million last year.
