Cisco Systems has been discovering that more of its products may be vulnerable to the Heartbleed flaw, with the number now standing at 80. Cisco and Juniper Networks promised to keep users updated on networking gear that might be impacted by Heartbleed, which exploits a vulnerability in certain versions of the OpenSSL software. This allows anyone on the Internet to read and capture data from the memory of systems that are vulnerable.

While Google only just released its Chrome 34 Web browser, the company is already showing off aspects of its successor, the Chrome Version 35 beta edition. The Version 35 beta edition will have features that will allow developers to create richer online content for Chrome users, particularly for mobile devices. For example, it will include a touch-action CSS property – to enable developers to have more control over touch and zoom input in their apps – as well as other features.

Finally, IBM announced new deals the company has made to help build on its cloud investments. These include a five-year multimillion dollar cloud agreement with Coca-Cola Amatil, which is designed to streamline CCA’s operations and processes across the South Pacific region and significantly reduce operational costs for the business.
