Businesses need all the help they can get maintaining security. E-Business Technology Inc., of Colorado Springs, Colo., offers help with its PoliVec Builder security policy development software.

Released this month, the tool, designed to help companies build a comprehensive security policy, provides user interfaces to guide users through the process. The software comprises four modules: policy configuration, policy categories, policy settings and policy details. By using these modules, customers can define a set of variables for implementation.

They can also choose categories such as e-mail or physical security and review the policy before making it official.

Once the policy is completed, users can produce it in document form. PoliVec Builder costs $1,495 per installation or $995 for a one-year subscription.
