A new AI robotics proposal wants to make death less final by storing a person’s identity inside a humanoid robot.
Veterans First for America has unveiled the QAIAx 4E HRR Model Series, a project that claims it could preserve a digital representation of a person's behaviors, skills, and personal characteristics in a humanoid robot or hologram.
According to the Veterans First for America’s press release, a person would wear a 40-sensor haptic suit that records movement, vital signs, physical responses, and professional skills. That information would be turned into a digital profile designed to replicate parts of the individual’s knowledge, abilities, and behavior. The project says those profiles could be maintained through family trusts or estates and continue interacting with future generations.
A broader plan for AI-run communities
The proposal extends beyond humanoid robots. Veterans First for America said the project is linked to the QAIAx Clinical Trial framework, which envisions a network of 300 decentralized "Microcities" across US federal and military enclaves, along with selected international locations covered by bilateral agreements.
The organization claims the communities could eventually support up to 1 million registered residents using a "90/10 Hybrid Workforce Model," where AI systems would manage most routine services, including utilities, farming, and water recycling — while licensed professionals would oversee complex medical, administrative, and regulatory decisions.
The proposed clinical program would study 11 intervention groups, including PTSD, substance use disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and re-entry programs for formerly incarcerated individuals.
A million-dollar digital legacy
The proposal also outlines licensing plans for preserving a person's digital profile across multiple generations.
According to Veterans First for America, pricing would begin at $300,000 for a 100-year license, rise to $600,000 for 250 years, and reach $1 million for a 500-year plan. Families or organizations could reportedly manage those digital profiles through trusts or estates so they could continue teaching, working, or interacting with descendants.
The project also proposes creating a robot manufacturing supply chain using raw materials sourced from West Africa and Western Australia to reduce reliance on Chinese production. An open-enrollment pre-launch phase is scheduled for October, while a waiting list for military veterans opened this month, according to the organization.
The deeper question
The most important issue is not whether robots can imitate people; it is whether society will accept those imitations as meaningful extensions of human identity.
AI companions, voice clones, and digital avatars already exist, but QAIAx pushes that idea into far more ambitious territory by combining robotics, long-term licensing, healthcare infrastructure, and inheritance. Even if the technology never reaches its promised capabilities, the project shows how quickly the conversation is shifting from preserving memories to preserving personalities.
For now, the proposal remains largely aspirational, and independent scientific, technical, legal, and ethical validation would be required before any claim of multi-century digital identity preservation could be taken seriously.
