Gateway is launching a leasing program for its professional customers to aggressively court businesses, government agencies and educational institutions.
Gateway is teaming with LEAF Financial and Merrill Lynch & Co. to offer a variety of leasing options, including full-payout leases and tax-exempt programs for municipalities.
Over the past few months, Gateway has outlined several steps its taking to grow its commercial business, including the use of the energy-efficient BTX (Balance Technology Extended) design in its desktops, improved services around its hardware offerings and the expansion of its corporate Web site to include offerings aimed at building a user community.
