Mapletree Networks Inc. has introduced a series of PMC cards for access and gateway systems. The MTN4000 series is based on the Norwood, Mass., companys flagship UniPorte architecture and patent-pending voice quality technology for jitter buffer management and echo cancellation.

The first module in the series, the MTN4096, is the industrys highest-density Public Mobile Carrier module product for applications requiring multiservice access for voice, fax and data, officials said.

The module has 96 ports and a standards-based architecture for product interoperability with other vendors products.

It is available now; pricing starts at $19 per port.
