Application management startup Dirig Software Inc. continues to rack up the OEM deals, this time with longtime development partner Aprisma Management Technologies.

Aprisma, the Cabletron Systems Inc. network management spinoff based in Durham, N.H., will move more aggressively into the application management space with a branded offering based on the Aprisma Proctor application management technology.

Spectrum Application Manager integrates Proctor with Aprismas patented modeling technology to more quickly pinpoint the source of performance or availability problems across multiple elements.

Proctor provides system and application monitoring through agents that monitor system parameters and application-specific managers that can be downloaded from the Spectrum console to manage those applications on the server.

Spectrum Application Manager will be available June 1, and the average cost for existing Spectrum customers will be about $30,000, officials said.

Dirig, of Nashua, N.H., also rearchitected the Proctor agent technology to provide three levels of functionality.
