There are good reasons for Gobosh and Sayers Group to come together. The reseller/consultants have been talking about a potential merger for several weeks.

Sayers wants more marketing muscle and a higher e-profile, Gobosh wants money, and Sun wants all of its partners to get bigger. But theres another factor to consider: Sayers and Gobosh were both founded by pro ballplayers.

If this deal goes through, look for the sports metaphors to fly as both firms step into the ring, make their merger pitch, and go for a slam dunk with customers.
